INSPIRATION & FUNDRAISING NEWS

Wello again, I am on a roll today,

I have just come back from a really wonderful meeting at my son's school, probably one of the best meetings I have had in 10 years; feeling very inspired indeed.  The positivity is overwhelming.

My Son has shown a marked improvement in understanding and utilising numbers/figures.  Although still on P levels (UK level - Nursery school) he is almost and just about progressing into a curricular level of that of a 4 year old in terms of cognitive ability.

I think its almost time for that glass of ice-cold Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin but that's only for my return on the 29th  of March.  Which makes me so so so so so happy in the knowledge, that things are progressing on the cognitive side and the remarkable Brainwave programme he is following and in addition the amazing work his Teachers and LST are doing on a daily basis.

Basti goes to a rather quaint small voluntary aided school in Hertfordshire:

I am feeling absolutely overjoyed for the first time in years.  I am truly happy at how his school have finally emerged in an excellent support writing a programme which also incorporates his Brainwave activities into his every day routine.

I have hope that by the time Basti is 18 he will be able to go the local store and buy a loaf of bread with the correct amount of money now.  If that is all he can manage and still be able to write his name, then that is all I ask for.

Which is why I state how beneficial the fundraising is, at it enables Brainwave to extend help to those children by giving them and their parents the individual tools to help children like my son.

Thus far, the amount I have managed to raise is a staggering £1107.50.  I will keep fighting the good fight, it is evident that this remarkable charity is worth every penny raised, for its not just the good work they do, but the hope they give parents, just like myself.

Every little helps.

With light and #blisterfreewishes and happiness today and always.
